Strategic Planning

"If you don't know where you are going,

any road will take you there"

Lewis Caroll

Heritage Thinking Differently proudly delivers the 2/5/10 Strategic Planning Programme, developed by Nick Winterbotham. This structured approach channels stakeholder ambition to define a clear, adaptable roadmap for the future.

If You Don't Have a Strategy, That IS your Strategy!

2/5/10 Year Business Planning Workshop

The process harnesses the ambition and knowledge of your stakeholders to create a vision of your organisation’s future. It addresses the steps required to achieve your vision within the next 2 and 5 years. The beauty of this  approach is that it creates a succinct working document which will evolve over time. A decade may seem distant but consider how valuable such foresight would have been ten years ago.

In an uncertain world a flexible approach to planning is essential.

Evidence has shown that a strong strategic plan can be a useful first step to securing funding as it instils confidence in major doners. It will focus your Boards and Colleagues and unite them behind a shared vision. Key staff and stakeholders will play a role in shaping the future. Many large national institutions have benefitted from this approach. This programme is equally suitable for brand development, and we are happy to explore how we can address your needs.

We can help you secure funding to cover the cost of a financial review. Many small funders have grant schemes which will cover the cost of our basic review/workshop, and we can incorporate this into our offer. Strong strategic planning will shape your future and release the necessary ambition, drive, resources and funding to realise your potential.
